Take Your Measure
The Performance Skills Inventory (PSI) measures performance skills in seven critical areas: Anxiety Management, Preparation, Confidence, Courage, Focus, Concentration, and Resilience. The PSI poses a series of questions that take inventory of the skills you’ve mastered, as well as those that need work.
To see how this process works, take the Sample Inventory. You'll immediately get a Sample Profile and some idea of your performance skills, at least in terms of managing performance anxiety.
If you're ready for the bigger picture, take the complete PSI right now. In return you'll instantly receive online:
Your very own performance profile, which will show you in graphic detail how you scored in the seven skill areas and explain what those scores mean.
- Your customized program, based on your Profile scores, of which success strategies are likely to help you the most.
- Your choice of those or three other success strategies (building confidence, improving self-talk, dealing with the fear of failure, focusing past distractions, memorizing music recovering from mistakes, developing mental toughness, etc.).
Each strategy takes about two weeks. You’ll also be receiving e-mails during the first two weeks to offer further guidance, encouragement, and check up on your progress.
After two or more weeks:
- Take the PSI again, on a complimentary basis, to get an accurate inventory of your current skills.
- Receive a performance profile, which will chart your progress and show you where you can make the most improvement.
- Receive specific recommendations for three new success strategies or you can choose three others.
Repeat this process every two weeks or so until you’ve mastered the performance skills you need to consistently deliver dynamic and inspiring performances or win the audition for your dream gig.
